In the first of a series of biennial conferences for the education sector, on 14 September 2015 in Titanic Belfast, the Education and Training Inspectorate highlighted the benefits of inspection and how inspection can be used to strengthen self-evaluation and quality improvement planning in an organisation.

Attended by over 600 delegates, the conference provided principals, leaders and educational stakeholders with an update on developments in inspection and briefings on the inspection process.
