The Chief Inspector, Faustina Graham, joined the PGCE Director, James Nelson, and the Head of School, Professor Daniel Muijs, as a guest speaker at the Presentation of Prizes and Certificates for the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) students from the 2022/23 cohort at Queen’s University Belfast. She spoke of the important difference that good teachers can make to their pupils’ lives in the long term.
Finalists and winners of the Elizabeth M Fulton prizes, the Excellence in Teaching prize, the School’s Prize for Top Performing Student and the Top Performing Student in Educational and Professional Studies were all acknowledged and congratulated on their academic achievement. Students across all the PGCE subjects were then called forward individually to be presented by the Chief Inspector with their parchments.
